Who To Call  

Bill Monk, is on the Staff for the Alliance for Christian Media, runs our Help Desk.  His main responsibilities are:

  1. New Parishes/Groups from our clents who wish to add their websites to our community

  2. Initial online training and content/navigation design

  3. Follow up training when needed

  4. General questions about issues related to you website

  5. Help with issues relating to navigation and content



Patrick Herold is our developer and Jonathan Jones is our Community Manager

Issues involving site design, structure, upgraded features, themes and the like should be directed either to Jonathan Jones or Patrick Herold of the Digital Faith Community.

 

Contacting the Help Desk 

The best way to reach Bill is by e-mail. Bill spends a good part of the day on the phone doing training sessions and helping to fix issues by phone. Using e-mail helps him better to schedule his time, and to spend quality time with you working on your issues. If you e-mail him and he can not solve your issue by e-mail, Bill will set up an appointment with you. You will then be both prepared to work on your issue and help you look at the available options to sove your situation. His goal is to handle all requests with in 24 hours. If it is going to take longer, he will let you know. Issues that come ot him that involve Patrick or Jonathon from the Digital Faith Community will be forwarded to them, and a note from Bill will be sent back to you letting you know that action has occured. Once it goes to Patrick or Jonathan, all further communication on your issue should be made through them.

If you do not know where your issue needs to go, e-mail Bill and he will let you know.

Our Training site

We also have a training/demo website called St.Cuthbert's Episcopal Church. This site gives you ideas for pages and suggestions on how you may organize your own content on the page. The pages were taken from many different DFC parish communiities through out the country. Click on the link on the left navgation bar to reach the site.

After you log into your website, you will see on the left side of the next screen, a list of Video Tuturials that will explain and show you now to accomplish all the different tasks on your site.

If you run into a situation where you might need a more specific detailed written guide to something you are dealing with on your site. E-mail us the situation with the specifics and we can send you back a support page that will guide you through your task
